Conversion Training is designed for maintenance personnel with previous aviation background to learn maintenance procedures of Mi-17 / Mi-171 helicopter types. This is an extensive in-depth course that includes a wide range of topics starting from general aircraft characteristics to specific knowledge of maintenance rules and techniques.

Practical training for maintenance personnel is performed in operational MRO workshops and laboratories; hands-on training is conducted on a grounded operational helicopter. The average duration of this course is up to 30 days, subject to student’s level of expertise and experience.
